Basic Christian Faith "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" -Romans 3:23 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." -1 John 1:8 "...Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" -John 3:3 "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" -Romans 5:8 "For He hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" -2 Corinthians 5:21 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" -John 3:16 "...the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin" -1 John 1:7 "But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, and be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith." -Phil 3:7-9 We are all separated from God by sin. We need to repent of our sin and accept that salvation comes as a free gift from God through Jesus' death on the cross. His death pays our debt if we believe in Him and that He is God incarnate. His righteousness is accounted to us, and our sin is accounted to Him. Through this, Salvation is offered as a free gift by Grace from God. Repent, believe in Jesus, the miraculous work of the cross, eternal life promised through His resurrection from the dead, and follow him!
