In the unlikely event that you are reading this page and you don't know me, perhaps you'd like to know a little about me. In any event, I'll write it even if no one cares.

My name is Andrew D'Auria. I have been happily married since 1998 to Ilissa. We have one brand new daughter (Jessica Rose) and one bi-polar cat named Willy. We live in a simple little townhouse in Staten Island, NY.

My wife and I are born again Christians. Our faith and walks with Jesus are central to our lives. Everything else I do is secondary to the practice of my faith, a living relationship with the God of the universe. I also play my guitar for my church as well as lead a home group Bible study in Staten Island.

I have spent my entire working life (since 1996) in computer technology. I've done everything from sales to engineering. My current job lies somewhere in the middle - I am a Sales Engineer for a managed email security company called MessageLabs.

I am politically conservative, with libertarian leanings. I don't get too emotionally invested in politics (my eternal perspective on life and death keeps me from caring too much). On the other hand, I do enjoy keeping up with the craziness of it all.

Some of my hobbies and interests include:

• Guitar, banjo, and music
• Chess
• Food, coffee, tea, wine, beer, cigars, pipes (all in moderation)
• Reading - mostly non-fiction, history, science, etc.
• Exercise - not really a hobby, but I do lift weights 3 times a week or so
• Poker
• Computers, technology, and the occassional video game
